The House of Marie Lichtenberg

A former fashion journalist at Elle France, Marie Lichtenberg founded her jewelry house in 2019. It all began with a locket-clasp necklace given to her by her mother for her 14th birthday, a legacy of her family’s Creole culture and a symbol of emancipation. From this object, handed down through generations, grew a universe in which memory, emotion and transmission take center stage.

To make her jewelry, the designer works with ateliers offering rare expertise: hand enameling, guilloché, chasing, stone setting and the signature “coco” gold finish. The 18-karat recycled gold chains are handmade in Italy.

Lockets: The Signature Piece

The locket is the heart of the house. Its lantern-shaped lockets are adorned with delicate enameled details and bear messages such as “Believe,” “Love is blind” or “Toujours.” They make a gift rich in emotion, whether to give or to treat yourself.

Scapulars: A Reimagined Talisman

Originally, the scapular was a piece of cloth worn over the shoulders by monks. Marie Lichtenberg takes this ancient object and turns it into a very modern jewel: chains of different thicknesses end in gold pendants, sometimes set with rubies or diamonds and highlighted with small spheres of stone and enamel. Some pendants rotate, creating a sense of movement and an interplay of full and empty space that makes them unique.
