Hans Wilsdorf founded the Tudor brand in 1926 with a simple ideal: robust watches built with cutting-edge technology. In 1954, the Tudor dive watch was born with the creation of the Tudor Oyster Prince Submariner. It immediately stood out for its superior capabilities and advanced technology. The watch was water-resistant to a depth of 100 metres, and it was also particularly reliable and durable. The Pelagos family was launched in 2012 as a modern nod to the dive models of 1969. This emblematic Tudor collection offers a varied selection of mechanical dive watches with exacting performance. The Pelagos line is made up of four models, each with its own specific features. The Pelagos models are designed for right-handed wearers, while the Pelagos LHD is specially designed for left-handers. Both watches are ergonomic and perfectly suited to saturation diving, thanks in particular to their helium escape valve. The Pelagos FXD, for its part, was developed in collaboration with the French Navy's combat swimmers! It features a countdown function that is invaluable for oxygen diving.

This new model takes up the challenge of offering a compact dive watch with traditional technical credentials that is also perfectly suited to city life.

Inside a 39 mm satin-finished titanium case, you will find a splendid black satin-sunray dial that gives the watch a unique glow. The hands are "Snowflake" hands, an emblem of Tudor dive watches since 1969, with luminescent material. The Pelagos name stands out elegantly at the bottom of the dial in a beautiful cherry red. The bracelet is made of grade 2 titanium with an adjustable clasp, and a black rubber strap is also available as an extra. The Pelagos 39 is powered by the Manufacture Calibre MT5400, designed to deliver reliability and robustness to its wearer. Paired with a non-magnetic silicon balance spring, it gives the chronometer ultimate precision, certified by the Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute (COSC). Going beyond the institute's certification, the Pelagos 39 offers a rate variation of -2 to +4 seconds. Finally, the Pelagos 39 has a power reserve of 70 hours, ideal for intense weekends of diving! It also meets ISO standards and comes with a 5-year warranty.
