The Legend Diver line welcomes a striking new matte white dial model and introduces versatile blue or black rubber straps. These additions continue the legacy of Longines’ iconic diving watch, which since its launch in 1959 has always blended elegant design with outstanding performance.
Over Six Decades of Legend Diver Excellence
For more than sixty years, the Longines Legend Diver has exemplified the brand’s commitment to high-quality diving watches. The latest chapter in this historic collection features a model with a stunning matte white dial and two new rubber straps. Instantly recognizable by its dual crowns and internal rotating bezel, this iconic timepiece combines over six decades of diving heritage with cutting-edge precision and timeless design.
A Matte White Dial for 2025
The 2025 model features an immaculate matte white dial, offering exceptional contrast and legibility while staying true to the collection’s DNA. Elongated indexes and Arabic numerals complement satin black and light green arrow-shaped hands, all treated with Super-LumiNova® for optimal visibility in any conditions. The dial is protected by a domed sapphire crystal with black metallization and multi-layer anti-reflective coating on both sides.
The watch is fitted with a stainless steel bracelet featuring central rice-grain links, providing maximum comfort. A double safety folding clasp with micro-adjustment ensures a refined balance between discreet elegance and technical performance.
Expanding the Collection: Blue and Black Dials
Two additional models with lacquered blue or black dials, paired with matching rubber straps, complete the collection. Previously available with stainless steel, leather, or NATO straps, these new rubber options combine comfort, durability, and contemporary style, perfectly reflecting the Legend Diver’s refined design. Each strap features a diver’s buckle to securely anchor the watch on the wrist, whether exploring ocean depths or venturing on land.
All three models retain the collection’s elegant 39 mm stainless steel case, alternating polished and satin-finished surfaces. The internal bi-directional rotating bezel — a revolutionary feature first introduced by Longines in 1936 — remains protected within the case, operated via a screw-down crown at 2 o’clock, with a 60-minute scale on the flange and a luminescent triangle. This innovative design preserves the original model’s legacy while offering practical protection against accidental manipulation or shocks.

These models uphold Longines’ commitment to exceptional performance, certified as diving watches (ISO 6425) with water resistance up to 30 bars (300 meters). The complete Legend Diver is also COSC-certified as a chronometer, ensuring high precision under all conditions. Powered by the exclusive Longines L888.6 calibre with a silicon balance spring and advanced components, the watches feature magnetic resistance ten times above the ISO 764 standard and offer an impressive 72-hour power reserve.
